The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is one of Canada’s premier polytechnics, with more than 79,000 students enrolled in certificate, diploma, apprenticeship and applied degree programs, as well as upgrading and skills training.
What is a polytechnic? Curriculum at SAIT is developed through partnerships with business and industry to ensure graduates have the skills and knowledge required in the workplace. Many programs include workplace internships and placements as critical components of their curriculum.
As the school attests, “SAIT students don’t just learn about things, they learn how to do things.”
SAIT Polytechnic, located just beside the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD), has an enviable position off of the Trans-Canada Highway, on North Hill overlooking the Bow River, Kensington and the downtown core. The CTrain stops right at the school’s doors.
