For skilled workers looking to continue their careers upon moving to Calgary, there are a couple of assessment services that may be of interest.
International Qualifications Assessment Service
The International Qualifications Assessment Service, or IQAS, compares educational qualifications from other countries to provincial educational standards. The service issues certificates of comparison to educational standards in a Canadian province, thereby recognizing education already achieved in countries outside of Canada.
Government of Canada – Self Assessment Test
The Canadian government has an online self-assessment test that can help you determine if you qualify as a skilled worker in Canada.
