Talisman Centre
The Talisman Centre – a white-roofed structure just south of downtown off of Macleod Trail – is a well-oiled fitness machine with a legion of trainers and staff, loads of equipment, and professional-calibre facilities.
The centre includes:
- Five full-sized gymnasiums
- 7,600 metres of cardio and weight training space
- Four Olympic-sized pools
- Olympic calibre dive tank
- Steam room
- 200-metre running track
- Physiotherapy and sports medicine clinic
- The Cardiac Wellness Institute of Calgary
The Talisman Centre will have scaled-back services in 2010 as it replaces the roof on its building, but will still have fitness and weight training equipment available.
