Known as Calgary’s restaurant row with over 35 international dining spots, the 13 blocks of Fourth Street SW (between and 12th and 25th avenues) also feature great shopping.
There are home décor shops, clothing boutiques, upscale pet food stores, a fantastic butcher, and one of the city’s coolest indie movie rental spots, to name a few.
The darling of the Mission community, this walkable stretch of Fourth Street stands out with a unique artistic ambience punctuated by numerous modern sculptures. The vendors of the area celebrate the arrival of spring every year with a pumping block party: the Fourth Street Lilac Festival.
