The Calgary International Blues Festival is a four-day event in early August with some of the greatest local, national and international blues artists.
Possibly one of the best parties of the year in Calgary, the festival has grown by leaps and bounds since the inaugural 2005 event.
The 2009 festival included performances by the likes of Colin James, Joe Bonamassa, Booker T. and Tommy Castro, all at Pumphouse Park on the banks of the Bow River in southwest Calgary.
