Now entering its 24th year, the Enbridge playRites festival is an internationally recognized showcase of new Canadian theatre, and a signature event of Alberta Theatre Projects.
The event consistently features extraordinary new work from writers across the country, and as of 2009, had produced 99 world premiere plays.
Six weeks of rehearsals lead to a six-week run of new Canadian plays. The plays are often performed at the Martha Cohen Theatre and Big Secret Theatre downtown at the Epcor Centre for Performing Arts.
