The Calgary International Children’s Festival – held annually in May – is one of Canada’s premier children’s arts festivals and is the third largest of its kind in North America.
Held at the Epcor Centre for Performing Arts and Olympic Plaza downtown, the children’s festival offers world-class performances and workshops in theatre, dance, music, puppetry and more.
The goals are to spark imagination, inspire creative thought, encourage cultural understanding and foster passion for the arts. The festival hosts more than 60,000 young people every year, as well as their families and teachers.
