The Calgary Police Service Interpretive Centre – also called YouthLink Calgary – is a unique hands-on facility that educates youth about crime and its consequences, and examines the role of police in society.
Fascinating aspects of police work are explored through a collection of approximately 4,000 catalogued artifacts, including uniforms, specialized equipment, crime scene evidence, weapons, court exhibits and more.
There is a 1946 Chevrolet paddy wagon on hand, as well as 1929 and 1985 Harley Davidson police motorcycles.
The centre is open to the public on Mondays and Saturday afternoons, and is otherwise reserved for school programming. It is located on the second floor of the Calgary Police Administration Building in downtown Calgary at 133 - 6th Avenue SE.
