Founded in 1975 by former World War II pilots and aviation enthusiasts, the Aero Space Museum preserves and promotes the stories of people who contributed to the aviation and space industries in western Canada.
Located near the Calgary International Airport, off of McKnight Boulevard NE, the museum has 30 aircraft and nearly 60 engines, along with flight simulators and historical information about Canada’s dynamic history of aviation.
The museum includes exhibits about Canada’s space program.
