Theatre Junction at the Grand
Theatre Junction at the Grand is Calgary’s downtown culturehouse for contemporary live arts.
The reinvigorated Grand Theatre has become a space where innovative and cutting-edge theatre, music, dance and film share a stylish new downtown venue. Add the wonderful Velvet Lounge to the mix – think dessert and coffee at the intermission – and you may have Calgary’s best all-around theatre experience.
An international, multi-disciplinary resident company of artists proposes and creates new work for the theatre, and for touring elsewhere.
Touring national and international artists also perform in the space throughout the year. It’s at 608 – 1st Street SW.
