Theatre Calgary performs in the Max Bell Theatre in the downtown Epcor Centre for Performing Arts, creating both classic and contemporary Canadian and international plays.
The 2009/2010 productions range from Charles Dickens – the hyper popular annual showing of A Christmas Carol – to a 20th anniversary production of Canadian comedy 7 Stories.
Theatre Calgary has striven to create powerful, evocative language and substantial, complex stories relevant to the people of Calgary and southern Alberta since it became a professional theatre company in 1968.
