The Loose Moose is known for comedy, children’s theatre and improv. The company presents weekly performances from a theatre on the second floor of Crossroads Market in southeast Calgary.
Loose Moose, which formed in 1977, has developed an international reputation for innovation and excellence in improvisational theatre, and also acts as a training centre for individuals interested in the performance method.
The theatre holds the International Improvisation School in Calgary each summer. Teachers and performers come from around the world for an intensive two-week course.
