The Liffey Players Drama Society is a highly regarded community theatre group recognized for its high standards of production and performance.
Established in 1986, the company has a history of staging plays by and about the Irish – hence the reference to the famous river that runs through the heart of Dublin City in the troupe’s name.
The Liffey Players have staged over 35 productions in Calgary, with their resume reading like a who’s who of Irish literature. They perform at the Pumphouse Theatre, just southwest of downtown Calgary.
