Springboard Performance is a non-profit organization devoted to connecting artists, mediums, audiences, the body and the mind through physical contemporary dance.

The group – which has operated since 1988 – has a simple vision: to promote, produce and create current, contemporary artistic practice. 

Springboard Performance has three distinct arms of activity:

• The Fluid Movement Arts Festival is held annually and features regional, national and international artists at venues around Calgary
• Interrarium Creation is a residency for professional artists at the Banff Centre which explores creative practice
• The work of Artistic Director Nicole Mion is presented by the company throughout the year
