Dancers’ Studio West
Dancers’ Studio West, DSW, has brought evocative and moving contemporary dance to Calgary stages for nearly 30 years.
Since 1981, DSW has showcased up-and-coming local choreographers as well as award-winning international artists in an effort to help shape the artistic landscape of western Canada.
For the 2010 season, DSW is offering:
- A professional performance series showcasing accomplished dance artists from across the country
- Mentorship-enriched artist-in-residence programs
- The 28th annual Alberta Dance Explosions Festival
Dancers’ Studio West operates in an intimate performance theatre at 2007 – 10th Avenue SW in the Sunalta community, just to the southwest of downtown Calgary.
