Calgary’s Creative Industries
Creative industries – including graphic design, advertising, marketing and digital multimedia – continue to grow in Calgary.
The city has over 4,400 applied arts and design organizations that employ 36,700 members of the emerging creative class.
There are two prominent Calgary schools that feed talented practitioners into the local talent pool: the Alberta College of Art and Design and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology Polytechnic.
