Brentwood

Brentwood is a tree-lined community in Calgary’s northwest close to the University of Calgary, Alberta College of Art and Design and SAIT Polytechnic.

Originally established in 1960, the neighbourhood features lovely older single-family detached houses, as well as some apartment buildings for the students that live in the area.

Brentwood has an enviable position overlooking Calgary’s downtown, providing the community’s approximately 6,060 residents with great views of the city.

Arts and Recreation

The grassy Nose Hill Park borders Brentwood to the north, and has a series of pathways perfect for walking, running and biking.

For arts and athletics, the University of Calgary can’t be beat, with excellent swimming and recreational facilities, Canada’s premier indoor skating oval, and any number of dance and theatre performances throughout the year.

Shopping

Brentwood is very close to a number of shopping centres, including Market Mall, Northland Village and Brentwood Mall.
