Redwood Meadows is located in the Rocky Mountain Foothills on the Tsuu T’ina First Nation. It is adjacent to Highway 22 and the Elbow River, northeast of Bragg Creek and just 20 minutes from the Calgary city limits.
It is a planned community developed by the Tsuu T’ina in a forested setting on a championship golf course. There are 351 single-family houses, on lots leased until 2048, which are currently home to 1,150 residents.
Redwood Meadows has a developed athletic field, tennis courts, basketball court and outdoor skating rink. The community is also close to the Wintergreen Golf Course and Kananaskis Country.
The community operates like other municipalities and property taxes are calculated on the same principles as the rest of the province.
The public school district for Redwood Meadows is Rocky View Schools.
